What makes something beautiful? I believe the answer is love. That's part of what makes antiques so special. The patinas that develop, the way that sharp corners soften over the years - these traits are the physical evidence of years of love and care.

I apply the same philosophy to art. Every painting bears unique marks, evidence that it was created by a human being who poured days or weeks of thought and devotion into it. That patience and effort renders a piece of art uniquely beautiful.
